| Has anybody seen the Dr Pepper commercial with Dr J? I think it's hilarious how at the end of the commercial he says "Trust me... I'm a doctor."
And the NFL fantasy football commercial with Warren Sapp is funny too. When his housekeeper launches a football and Sapp jumps off the edge of his pool to catch it in the air and land in the pool, I always crack up.

| Here are some pics of stuff I've done over the last few months. Friend's birthdays, a bridal shower, a baby shower, a kids' wedding reception. Dozens of cupcakes, hundreds or mini-cupcakes, hundreds of cookies, mushroom turnovers, truffles...

| I had a little tasting shindig a couple of weeks ago. I made a bunch of desserts, some that I'd never made before, others that I was trying to improve, and had some friends over to taste and give me feedback. Tiramisu, Coffee Creme Brulee, Mini Orange Chocolate Cakes, Mango-Raspberry Mousse Duo, Chocolate-Vanilla Mousse Duo, Ginger-Coconut Panna Cotta, Chocolate Molten Cake, Red Velvet Cupcakes, Lemon Cupcakes. James came a little early with his camera and we set up a back drop so he could take some pictures. Next time I'll have him bring his light box so it looks a little cleaner. | No food this time... Well, no pictures at least. Lots of rambling though! Anyway, I made a bunch of individual desserts for a friend. They were a White-Chocolate Raspberry and Chocolate Mousse duo. A layer of white chocolate raspberry mousse on the bottom and a layer of chocolate mousse on top, raspberries in the middle. Garnished with chocolate shavings and a fresh raspberry. I also made Chocolate Molten Cakes. I thought they turned out pretty well.
Onto the ramblings...
T-Pain is the new Nate Dogg. Lacing every hot track on the radio these days. "Low" with Flo Rider, "Cyclone" with some guy, "Kiss Kiss" with Chris Brown, "Good Life" with Kanye, "U and Dat" with E-40, "Shawty" with some other guy. Akon who?
Speaking of the radio... I used to be the biggest anti-radio guy ever. I'd listen to my obscure indie hip-hop and some down temp and be happy. But these days... I dunno, I'm feeling the ridiculous T-Pain laced tracks that are on the radio all the time. I think it's because it reminds me of the clubs and dancing, which I basically don't do anymore.
I like Kobe. I used to HATE Kobe. But ever since Lebron entered the league, I've become a Kobe fan. I guess I just like to hate the best. Lebron is too much of an android. The Lakers are just ridiculous now too. And young. They could be contenders for awhile. Lakers vs Celtics Finals? Hot.
Speaking of the Celtics... It's hard not to like them. It's hard not to like KG. But I've been a Ray Allen fan for awhile, since he was a Sonic, and I grew to like the Sonics because of GP of course. Plus he was Jesus Shuttlesworth. And his shot is so money. Plus people sleep on him. Dude's pretty damn athletic. People think he's just a shooter because his stroke is butta, but every once in awhile he'll cram one nasty.
